Abeyon and ASI Government teamed together to bring technology and subject matter expertise to meet Pilot IRS objectives of improving FPDS-NG Data, reduce manual labor and achieve incremental improvement over time. Our team worked with IRS procurement team to obtain training data and build Artificial Intelligence (AI) based models to extract information from the contract documents. Over several phases, Abeyon built NLP models and incrementally improved the models over time through iterative learning. The architecture was built in a modular fashion to enable expansion of models, external sources and internal systems. We brought in Robotic Process Automation solution to scale this solution over several thousand contract documents.
This has resulted in improved data quality and transparency and has substantially reduced manual labor there by resulting in over 100% in Return on Investment (ROI).
